Introduction about EFT
The answer for the title is YES. Recently Google introduced the EFT for Indian adsense publishers in the month of March 2014. Every adsense holders in India should be happy with this news. Many of them have already opted for Beta test and got succeeded in receiving the adsense payment from Google. As of today, Google has completely stopped the adsense cheque instructing them to change to new form of this EFT payment.
What you need to use EFT payment
All you need is a bank account that has SWIFT facility. That is, the facility to do foreign transaction. Ask your branch of bank or head office of your bank to know the availability of this facility. If not, switch over to another bank which has this facility. SBI is the best in receiving this EFT payment from Google as per the user's experience. On the other hand, if your bank does not have this facility, you can even use your family member or relative account to receive the payment. Thus you can change your payee name to the name of the other's account.How to change the payee name in your adsense account
Step 1: Sign in to the adsense.google.com
Step 2: Go the payment tab and select the payment settings. See the screen shot to know where the payment settings available in the adsense account [circled on the left side]
Step 3: Click on the +Add a new form of payment [See the rectangle in red]
Now you should enter the following details: [See the figure provided below]
- Account Holder Name [Name of the account holder that you want to use]
- Bank Name [Name of your bank in short or full]
- IFSC code [Enter the correct IFSC code of the bank you are going to use]
- SWIFT-BIC [This is very important code to process the payment. Enter the right code after clarifying with your bank officials]
- Account Number [Enter the correct account number, double check it]
- Re-Type account number [Again type it]
- Tick mark the box Set this form of payment as Primary [This will be primary for your payment, you can add many accounts in this way and select any of it as primary]
- Finally click on Save button. [You can't edit this form again or delete it. If you want to delete, add correct details in the another form (fresh form) following the same above procedure and select that as primary and delete the secondary one. If you choose only one as primary form of payment. If you choose opted first and second and so on.. as primary, the latest one will be automatically set as primary]
Now, it is important to note that your payee name must be matched with the adsense payee name. Change the adsense payee name in the Payee Profile tab with the address you given in the new form of payment above. See the blue rounded mark in the figure shown below. That's all! Enjoy the feature and wish you to get more payment quickly from Google.
